Michael Hartnett

Michael Hartnett is the founder of the Berkshire Guitar School

Michael Hartnett has been playing guitar and bass professionally since 1992. He has taught guitar, bass and recording technology in schools, institutions and privately since 1996. He opened the Berkshire Guitar School at South Hill Park Arts Centre in 2004 and has since moved it to a fully functioning recording studio in Bracknell Berkshire. In 2008 he released his album "Save Us From The Machines" by the band Infrasonic. This album was recorded in his studio and is available to buy on iTunes. He has also performed solo acoustic gigs, with his own band Infrasonic and with numerous function bands.

Trained and formerly employed at Metropolis Studios in London England, Michael has extensive knowledge of analogue and computer based recording. Michael has also been commissioned by numerous tv and music library companies to produce master quality soundtracks for use commercially and is member of PPL and PRS.

He performs in numerous bands and performs at Theatres and Festivals across the UK with:
